Co Curricular Activities
Co-curricular activities form a very important part of formal training. Apart from learning a number of useful skills, the students develop self-reliance and pride in themselves and the institution through these activities
Literary Pursuits. English Literary Society and Bazam-e-Adab provide a forum where students present their own creative writings in the form of essay, out the College magazine ‘Hallmark’ , which reveals the intellectual capabilities and creative sensibilities of the students. It reflects their character, and the lofty standard. “Quo Non Ascendam” (To What Heights Can I Not Rise)
Communication Skills. Special classes are organized to enhance communication skills of the students. Every student has to conduct Morning Assembly and participate in debates and declamation contests. This inculcates in the students the habit of clear and purposeful thinking.
Inter-House Contests. Inter-House declamation, debates, essay writing, short story writing and quiz competitions are held every year under the auspices of the English Literary Society and Bazam-e-Adab. All students participate with enthusiasm and high spirit of competition to prove their excellence over the others.
All Pakistan Burn Hall Bilingual Declamation Contest. All Pakistan Burn Hall Bilingual Declamation Contest is organized every year for both male and female speakers, representing elite educational institutions of the Country. Pakistan Military Academy, Pakistan Naval Academy, Pakistan Air Force Academy, Cadet Colleges and renowned institutions participate in the competition. The College teams also participate in the All Pakistan Debate and Declamation competitions organized by their institutions.
Dinner Nights. Dinner Nights are regularly arranged with a view to affording opportunities to students to socialize with their peers, teachers and guest in a formal manner. Not only certain goals of etiquette are accomplished through these formal dinners, the students also develop a sense of refinement in social behavior
